Annoying Noises

Something that bugs me is when people make annoying noises like tapping, humming, or just being obnoxious. I hate when people do that because most of the time, when I say something about it, they continue doing it just to annoy me. I think if someone is doing that, they are just bored and sometimes they probably don't realize they are doing it. It just makes me go crazy and sometimes it makes me have a headache because it gets so annoying. I also think that people who are always making noises are thinking about something  and they just don't realize that they are doing it.

My 13th Birthday



My birthday is in a month and 8 days. Im exited for this birthday because its my 13th birthday. I think Im getting a laptop or dog because i asked for those things and my mom said maybe and since its a "special" birthday, i think i can get my parents to get it for me. This birthday is special because your 13th, 16th, 18th, and 21st birthdays are when you are finally a teenager, you can get your drivers license, officially an adult, and the 21st is you can do other stuff. Im happy that im gonna finally be a teenager because im tired of being called the littlest in the family even though ill still be the littlest.

My Favorite Color



My favorite color is green. I like that color because its a relaxing color and its soothing. Some people say it makes them nauseous, but I don't think it does. My bedroom walls are lime green and purple and I like how its really bright. The color is something not many people use to display something (like a wall) but I like it. Green is not my only favorite color, I also like the colors purple, blue, and rainbow but I don't like some colors on the rainbow by themselves like red or orange.

If I was in front of those 7 doors and was told I have to go through one, I would pick the one that leads to Narnia. I would pick that one because after seeing the movie Narnia, I thought that it would be cool to go there because in the movie, it was you just walk through a closet door, and you in this snowy place. It would be cool to walk through a door in your house and magically be outside in a snowy yard with people you don't know. I just think it would be weird though because I wouldn't know how it happened or anyone there, but I wouldn't really worry. I would just build snowmen, make snow angels, just play in the snow.

The Age Of 12

What I will never forget about my age is that since I've been 12, I've noticed that this is the age that life gets tougher. Rather its dealing with school, people, etc. Through life I was constantly being told that life gets harder the older you get; that was the truth. And 7th and 8th grade mainly are the hardest grades because its when you develop into a pre-adult. 

Micro Windmills Become Powering Sources For Devices

Jung Chih Chiao and his associate Smitha Rao are attempting to make micro windmills become powering sources for devices. These windmills measuring 1.8 millimeters at their widest point, you could fit 10 in a single grain of rice. You could fit thousands of windmills into the sleeve of a cell phone case. Imagine your in a chat with your friend and your phone gets a low battery then eventually dies. Your friend will think your ignoring them or hug up on them on purpose, at that point, you would probably wish you had your phone charger, but if you had the windmills, you wouldn't have to have a dead phone, it could be charging your phone while your not by a charger.

1. arduous- It was arduous to do my homework last night because I didn't understand the lesson.
2. assert- I assert that to give out homework should be against the law.
3. contemplated- I contemplated the scene so I could get a better understanding on what happened.
4.  durable- The change was durable, you could not go back and remove it.  
5. harnessing- The harnessing car was slowing down as it approached the stop sign.
6. patent- It was patent that I was tired because I was dozing off at school.
7. prototype- I've been noticing a prototype with the math homework.
8. wafer- Jung Chih Chiao uses a wafer to create each Micro Windmill.
9. withstand- I had to confess that I ruined the party and withstand the punishment.
